Ercilia’s Journey

Ercilia M Galloway, raised in Grapevine, Tx. Ercilia’s passion for sports and activity started at a young age. She fell in love with Softball, Kickboxing, and Lifting weights. Grounding herself, surrounding her body in Nature, slowing down the tempo of life is a must and she shares this with her clients.

At Grapevine High School she participated & lead FFA, RYLA Leadership camp, AVID, Mustang Softball, Rachel’s Challenge Club, and MCA Leadership. She received the Grapevine Mustang award, delegated to the best male and female athlete both academically and physically performing. In Softball she was awarded 2nd Team All-District both Freshman & Sophomore years. She made 1st Team All-District Junior and Senior year for the Grapevine Lady Mustang Softball. She is also honored by the Colleyville Women’s Club for The Circle of Hope Award. One student in their Junior year is selected by the administrative faculty for the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Associaion). Ercilia was selected by the faculty, to represent their school at the MCA (Multi Cultural Alliance) camp 2014. She learned true equality, teamwork, leadership skills, and that each soul is on their own journey on this earth. Leading out-of-school sports a Fusion Select Softball organization coached under Milligan. She was seen as a key player and essential leader to the team. While also finding time to work at McDonald’s where she learned life lessons and how to treat people of all kinds with kindness and respect.

Ercilia moved to College Station following graduation, she continued to take health, physical education, anatomy related courses at Blinn College. This includes Advanced Yoga, Abdominal and glute isolation training, Advanced Weight Lifting, Advanced Conditioning, Nutrition, Pilates, and started a Slow Pitch Softball team for a corporate company. She developed a Softball tournament to add as part of an annual fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club or America. She developed a league among the Houston corporate stores; when the league was successful the first year, she developed a championship bracket to play the second year for Houston Vs. Dallas-Fort Worth stores.

After completing her Associate’s of Arts Degree from Blinn College she moved back to DFW and began to major at the University of Texas at Arlington in Exercise Science. While finishing her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at UTA she was a Kickboxing Trainer for 9 Round and a physical therapy assistant. Gaining experience training as a HIIT Kickboxing trainer, where she developed a true passion for helping others with their physical goals and health journey.

She loves helping others feel empowered. She was certified as a physical therapy assistant at Align Health in Grapevine and worked alongside Dr. Jerry Ejuwa. She had patients perform rehabilitation exercises, stretching, and assisted patients with multiple Physical Therapy modalities. She was able to apply what she learned in classes such as Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, and Physiology II. Observing a variety of injuries from motorcycle accident victims to uncomfortable back pain in the elderly. Having the opportunity to learn and help cure others without western medicine and in more severe cases, Stem Cells were used, but this opened the door for Ercilia’s strong belief in Herbal and Natural Medicine.

During her internship at Redline Athletics in Keller, she was certified as a Sports Performance Specialist in fusionetics, speed & agility, strength training, and specific sports skill work for Softball, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, and Volleyball. She worked with athletes ranging 8 & under to Seniors in high school accepting full-ride scholarships to D1 Universities. She programmed and coached for 1 on 1 personal training with athletes or adults wanting to focus on particular sports or goals. She started a program known as Girls Night following the pandemic to help the mental health of young female athletes. She is very aware and concerned for her client's mental health. Open communication is critical to a successful program to an overall healthier lifestyle and reach optimal health. She uses what she learned and applies it to her current programming.

In late April she married her best friend Drew in the Rocky Mountains of Estes Park, CO. In July of 2021, she leaped to start her own business, Life Living Fit because it is about feeling good and Living a Long Healthy Life. Wanting to truly help people through their personal health journeys. She does not believe in quick fixes but is dedicated to hard work.

In October of 2021 she was accepted to play for Women’s Fastpitch Softball Association, placed on a “thrown together team”. Ercilia and her family drove to Colorado for the Denver Mile High WFSA Tournament, there were teams from all over the country who came to play Fastpitch Softball. Ercilia ended up leading them to the Championship and now owns a championship ring. She spoke to the Director of WFSA and he would like her to start a DFW WFSA Fastpitch League because Texas does not have one team.

The family Ted and Charlie (the doggos) included are on an RV trip. They plan on being on the road doing workouts at beautiful parks and scenic views. On the road, she will still be developing personalized nutrition meal plans as well as physical training plans and programs. By using everything she learned working for a chiropractor, kickboxing gym, and Athletic performance center she develops a full-rounded plan to help you succeed in your life journey & health goals.
