Sports Performance

Speed training starts with learning the proper technique of running. When mastered secondary training methods to enhance speed are added such as resistance bands, parachutes, hurdles, and cones are used. Improving stride frequency, speed-strength, and stride length. Including obstacles as the last cycle. Speed & Agility are included in the personal training programming cycle.

Speed & Agility

For most sports and to properly cycle training Explosive training is both fun and essential. When every millisecond matters explosive training pays off. Explosive exercises train the muscle fibers in your body to move faster. Through explosive training proper alignment, and persistent training your muscle fibers will enhance.

Explosive Training

Strength & Conditioning

Training muscle fibers to develop strength and power are essential for healthy metabolism and programming. Conditioning increases cardiovascular, metabolic and hormone adaptations. These adaptations aid in more efficient bodily functions. This can include after burn, an increase in metabolic rate and dopamine release. An increase in resistance training will grow muscle fiber strength.

Softball Skills

Batting

As a lead-off hitter, I am capable of teaching fundamental skill and beyond of both left and right power-hitting, small ball, and line drive, base hits. Bunting, slapping and power hitting are key to the next level of a performance when switch hitting.

As a Utility player, basic fielding knowledge is important. Infield, catcher, and outfield positions should know how to backhand, front hand, on the line situations and know exactly what to do no matter where the ball is hit. Mental strength is an aspect brought into drills and game time situations.

Fielding

Base Running

Faster Base Running is developed with an increase in fast twitch muscle fibers, training Fast, improving rate of force and proper fundamentals of running. This will increase the trajectory characterized by explosive horizontal push off and minimal vertical impulses. Speed consisted of Stride Frequency X Stride Length, & smart base running increases your chance of crossing home plate

Injury Prevention

Injury prevention is essential to a successful athlete. A proper warm-up including dynamic stretches and a cool-down with proper static stretching is ideal. Programming and cycling through different, tempos, reps, or modalities of exercise are essential for injury prevention. If you continue to do the same movements over a long period of time, you will get hurt! Let’s prevent it and move aligned together!
